What’s Cracking Good — Biking the canals
Back in grade school or high school, I remember hearing a story about a person jogging along the canal who got her head chopped off. Thereafter, canal-transportation was tantamount to no head.
These days, I’m more fearful of crazy drivers than serial killers on my bike rides, so I’m giving the canals a go.

What’s Cracking Good — Biking the canals
I’ve heard about people biking or jogging along the canal for years now, but I’ve never done it.
Partially because, when I was in grade school or high school, I remember hearing a story where a person jogging along the canal got her head chopped off. Thereafter, canal = no head.
But over the weekend, I pushed that 25 year old rumor to the back of my mind and took a bike ride along the canal…and it was lovely.
I got on somewhere around Maryland , east of the 51 and road about 30 minutes to a nice neighborhood in Paradise Valley. A little further and I could have gone to Chelsea’s Kitchen for a drink…and not had to pay for valet!
