Resumé   |   Writing samples   |   Illustrations

For years, I edited the style and entertainment content at azcentral.com -- which led to a gig teaching online journalism at ASU's Walter Cronkite School.

Then came full-time motherhood and part-time freelance.

What I’m up to now: writing, illustrating and problem solving. I report on family-centric content, food, culture and things-to-do for local publications and businesses. I suggest things-to-do and places to go for hotel visitor’s guides and maps. I create engaging press releases for restaurant openings and special events, hype a monthly dance night and make easily digestible copy for websites. I teach Photoshop classes to corporate clients. I also lend a hand with marketing materials and website updates for a couple of local non-profit organizations.

I’m flexible, work quickly and solve problems.
